End-of-life and funerals

Death and bereavement are always complicated, but BHPS – and especially Rabbi Gabriel – are here to support you.

It is a point of pride for us to help families through difficult moments, by crafting meaningful ceremonies (burial, woodland burial and cremation are all entirely acceptable options in Liberal Judaism) and offering all the care and support that you need.

We are also available to discuss these matters in advance: it can sometimes be a comfort for those approaching end-of-life to know that their funeral has been taken care of.

Whether or not you or the deceased are or were members, please don’t hesitate to make contact. Rabbi Gabriel visits those at end-of-life, and officiates Jewish funerals (burial, woodland burial and cremation), throughout Brighton and Hove, Sussex, Surrey and beyond.
