As part of the important celebrations of the 250th anniversary of Jewish life in Brighton we are pleased to welcome Godfrey Gould to our synagogue. Godfrey was born in Newcastle upon Tyne and educated at the Universities of Durham, London and Sussex. He came to Brighton 50 years ago and it was his studies at Sussex especially which stimulated his interest in local history. He is Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and an Honorary Life Chartered Companion of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
